Planting Corn

Ramón Guttieriz is shown planting corn in his milpa (garden) just outside San Victor. Notice how shallow the soil is when he hits rock and has to search for an acceptable spot for the next hill of seeds. Notice also the spacing between the hills due to the poor nutrition of the soil.
